The mission of this blog is to give her opinion on how she sees our wonderful nation working and the “Dream” that America has and has always had, needs to and is still alive today. Being an American means freedom, and power in and of itself. We are strong and need to remember where we came from and how it seems most have forgotten these truths.
This blog has such a true American spirit about it. The pictures that are used are incredible patriotic and the layout is very neat and uniformed. The personal pictures give this blog a warm feeling and tell the reader so much about the author. As a mother the picture of mother and son with the works, “Why I live” about it, spoke mounds to me; I feel the exact same way about my daughter.
The background color in the blog takes away from the message I think. Black is such a depressing color in my opinion and the blog has such and empowering feel to it that it should be a more vibrant, bright color in my opinion. I think maybe if the background color was blue, which is a color that can be associated with the Union Army in the American Civil War, would be better also, there could be a hidden meaning behind the color like the one I mentioned, since the blog seems to be very patriotic.
Overall, the blog is wonderful and very well written. The pictures and layout make the blog stand out and tie everything together. The entries that have been written are very powerful and have so much passion in them, that the reader comes away intrigued and thought provoked. The views and points really come across and are articulated well. I look forward to following your blog throughout the semester.
