In our current structure it is not a very authentic representation. They are unrepresentative with respect to gender, class, race, and ethnicity.
Since the begining of government, we have made progress on more authentic representation in the categories of gender (we have women in positions never held before) we have a diverse representation when it comes to race and ethnicity, but the truest struggle is class. Once again, if you are not "educated" and have lots of money to run your campaigne there is no way you will ever make it to Washington. As a nation we have made

For my critical review #2 I decided to critic Beth Martinez’s blog. The direct link to her blog is http://bethpsc1010.blogspot.com/. When I look at this blog page I think… short, sweet, and simple. It doesn’t take Beth many words to get her point across.
I really like this blog because it short and simple… right to the point.. there is no beating arounf the bush when it comes to Beth’s blog. I think how many things are highlighted and bold!! This makes her page stand out. I would say her biggest strength summarizing all her thoughts into one solid statement. From her blog I can already tell Beth is a very livly person, and it lookd like she enjoys the beach and spending time with that cute little boy in her picture! I think this blog is very creative and has multi colors which is nice.
Some things that I would work on or change about this blog is to make sure you ask your critical question at the end of each post.. Also make sure you incorporate some kind of picture or visual aid with each post. I like how it is sweet and to the point but I think the requirement of text is more so maybe add some more of a personal opinion or an experience.
Overall Beth’s blog is very intresting and caught my eye by the bold and highlighted text. I like this blig because she gets right to the point and it is very colorful. Things I would recommend for this blog is adding more pictures or visual aids to expredd your thoughts… Keep it up!
